Meet the Team Behind Your Protection
We've seen what weather can do to a project, and we're here to make sure it never happens to yours. We're not just equipment guys. We're former contractors, traders, and business operators who understand what it's like when deadlines are tight and weather won't cooperate.

Travis
Travis spent 19 years in the oil and gas trenches with Exxon Mobil and BP, where small miscalculations cost millions. His last eight years as Book Lead for BP's Crude Oil Trading group taught him how to manage risk when the stakes are high and the weather doesn't care about your timeline.
He was part of the BP Crude Oil Executive Team running one of the world's largest trading operations. Think logistics nightmares, commodity price swings, and keeping product flowing across North America no matter what the elements threw at them.
After retiring in 2020, Travis turned his attention to helping startups solve real problems. At Custom Climates, he brings that same risk management mindset to keeping your materials safe and your projects on track.

Jake
Jake spent over 20 years building Burt Brothers Tire & Service from the ground up, doing everything from VP strategy to hands-on tire work. When you're running a family business, you learn real fast that customer care isn't just a buzzword - it's how you stay in business.
He's also a licensed real estate agent, which means he knows what it's like to help people make big decisions under pressure. Whether you're buying equipment or protecting a million-dollar material shipment, Jake brings that same straight-talk approach to every conversation.
What Jake Handles:
Relationship building, team leadership, problem solving, and making sure you get real value for your investment.
Education:
Westminster University, Bachelor of Arts in International Business

Tate
Tate has four years of direct sales experience along the East Coast, working with companies in pest control, solar, and termite protection. Sounds different from construction? Not really. Every one of those industries is about preventing expensive disasters before they happen.
He knows how to translate complex services into simple solutions that actually make sense. Whether he's explaining why your house needs termite protection or why your drywall needs climate control, Tate gets straight to what matters: saving you time, money, and headaches.
What Tate Handles:
Direct sales, customer acquisition, and building relationships that actually last beyond the handshake.

Antony
Antony is a licensed contractor who's been working with GCs since 2017. He's seen firsthand what happens when materials get damaged, schedules slip, and budgets explode. That's why he gets it when you call us stressed about a weather forecast.
In 2021, he earned his B100 (General Building Contractor) and E100 (Engineering Contractor) licenses. He's led projects from start to finish, dealt with inspectors, managed subcontractors, and launched his own transportation company. When we say we understand your world, Antony is proof we're not just talking.
What Antony Handles:
Project coordination, onsite management, contractor relations, and making sure things actually get done right.
