Climate-Controlled Conex Containers

Steel-walled, generator-backed protection for your highest-value materials. 40' and 45' units with propane backup power, independent humidity control, and environmental monitoring that reports conditions every hour — whether you're on site or not.

The Problem You're Solving

Materials that cost six figures to source and months to deliver don't get a second chance. One weekend of unchecked humidity turns custom millwork into scrap. One cold snap cracks stone veneer. One theft wipes out a procurement cycle you can't repeat on the project's timeline.

Standard jobsite storage — a shipping container with a padlock — controls none of this. It's a metal box that bakes in summer, sweats in shoulder seasons, and offers zero visibility into conditions between site visits.

A climate-controlled container gives you a sealed, monitored environment that holds spec from the day materials arrive to the day they get installed.

Why a Container?

Maximum volume, maximum security

Steel-walled, ground-level, and lockable. The 45' option gives you more capacity than a standard shipping container. When you're storing a full building's worth of finish materials, that extra space matters.

Propane-powered backup

The onboard Generac generator runs on propane — no diesel particulates near sensitive materials, no fuel degradation from long storage. Propane tanks are refillable on site with standard service, and additional tanks can be connected on request for extended runtime.

Built to stay put

Containers are the right call when your project runs 6+ months and the unit doesn't need to move. Delivered by truck (crane only if the site isn't truck-accessible), then set in place for the duration. The thermal mass of a steel container combined with closed-cell spray foam insulation creates stable interior conditions that don't swing with every weather change outside.

Water-recycling humidity control

Same independent humidity system as our trailers: the dehumidifier extracts moisture from the air and feeds it back into the 25-gallon humidifier tank. The humidifier pushes moisture through a fan-box distribution system when conditions run dry. Both operate simultaneously, both auto-adjust, and the recycling loop means your water tank lasts significantly longer than competitors running standalone dehumidifiers that just dump extracted moisture on the ground.

How We Control Your Climate

Temperature Control

A 2-ton mini-split system with two interior head units and one exterior condensing unit handles heating and cooling. This runs independently from humidity control, so temperature adjustments don't interfere with moisture management.

Humidity Control

A dedicated humidifier pushes moisture through a fan-box distribution system when conditions are too dry. When conditions are too humid, the dehumidifier pulls moisture out of the air — and recycles that water back into the 25-gallon humidifier tank. This closed-loop design means the water tank lasts significantly longer than systems that just dump extracted moisture.

Both systems are independently controllable, and the environment inside can be dialed to match manufacturer specs for whatever you're storing — hardwood at 35-55% RH, drywall at 40-50%, specialty finishes at whatever the data sheet requires.

Built For These Projects

Large-Scale Commercial Construction

When a project's FF&E package fills an entire container — flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, specialty hardware — you need a single controlled environment, not multiple storage runs to a warehouse across town. One container, everything in one place, conditions locked.

Data Center Construction

Servers, networking equipment, and precision components are spec'd to arrive and be stored in climate-controlled environments. A container on the staging pad gives your logistics team a controlled receiving area without relying on the unfinished building's HVAC.

Museum & Gallery Installations

Irreplaceable artwork, artifacts, and display materials can't sit in an uncontrolled environment between delivery and installation. A climate-controlled container provides controlled conditions at the job site — no round-trips to off-site storage, no chain-of-custody gaps.

Long-Duration Projects

Temple builds, hospital expansions, and institutional projects that run 12+ months need storage that doesn't degrade over time. Closed-cell spray foam doesn't sag, settle, or lose R-value. The container performs as well on month 14 as it did on day one.

Trailer vs. Container — Quick Comparison

Trailers

  • Relocates: Yes — gooseneck hitch, reposition with a pickup
  • Fuel: Diesel (0.48-0.71 gal/hr at half load)
  • Runtime: ~42-62 hours (half load)
  • Best for: Phased work, multi-site, tight access

Containers

  • Relocates: No — set once for the project duration
  • Fuel: Propane (1.76-1.81 gal/hr at half load)
  • Runtime: ~14 hours (additional tanks available)
  • Best for: Long-term, maximum volume, set-and-forget

How It Works

1

We spec it to your project

What are you storing? How much? How long? We'll recommend 40' or 45', standard or high box, and configure the climate targets for your specific materials.

2

We deliver and set up

In-stock units deploy within 24 hours in Utah, 48-72 hours to surrounding states. Custom builds take approximately 4 weeks. You'll need a level pad and a 220V hookup. Delivery is by truck — crane is only needed if the site isn't truck-accessible.

3

You monitor from anywhere

Environmental sensors report conditions hourly via cellular connection. Cameras give you eyes on the unit 24/7. Alerts fire if temperature or humidity drift outside your target range.

4

We pick up when you're done

Project wrapping up? We schedule removal and handle logistics. No long-term commitments you can't get out of.
