Climate-Controlled Jobsite Storage for St. George and Southern Utah

Humidity-controlled, remotely monitored trailers and Conex containers for southern Utah jobsites. In-stock units reach your site in 24 hours.

Headquartered in St. George

Custom Climates is based in St. George, and we keep units staged in St. George and Cedar City. When your millwork lands Thursday, the unit that protects it is close by, and so are we.

Southern Utah Is Hard on High-Value Materials

Summer heat, monsoon humidity, and freezing nights can all hit the same project. A standard container keeps rain and thieves out. It doesn't control the air your cabinets, flooring, and finishes sit in.

Summer Heat

St. George summers run long and hot, and a closed steel box sitting in that sun gets hotter inside than the air around it. Heat is hard on wood, adhesives, and finishes.

Monsoon Humidity

From July into September, monsoon storms push moisture into air that stays dry most of the year. Wood takes on that moisture, then gives it back when the air dries out. That's how panels cup and joints open before install day.

Freezing Nights

Winter nights drop below freezing in St. George, and Cedar City runs colder. Plenty of adhesives, sealants, and water-based finishes carry a do-not-freeze warning on the label.

Before You Call

How fast can you get a unit to my site?

In-stock units deploy in 24 hours anywhere in Utah, and we keep units staged in St. George and Cedar City. Need something custom-built? Plan on about four weeks.

Call (435) 773-1076 with your site and your dates, and we'll tell you what's available.

Do I need power on site?

Where the site has a standard 220V hookup, that's the primary supply, and the onboard backup generator takes over automatically if it drops. No hookup? Storage units can run generator-primary on a remote site, and we plan the refueling with you.

Jobsite office units need the shore-power connection.

What conditions do you hold?

We lock temperature and humidity to the spec your materials need. For millwork, that's typically the AWI Standard 200 care-and-storage zone for your install location, so it acclimates to the conditions it will live in.

Can I check on my materials without driving out to the site?

Yes. Live dashboards show temperature and humidity, text and email alerts flag a problem, and HD cameras let you check on the unit from your phone.

What belongs in a climate-controlled unit instead of a standard container?

Anything that moves with heat and humidity, or that you can't reorder on your schedule: custom millwork and cabinetry, hardwood flooring, doors, decorative stone and tile, specialty fixtures, and finishes with storage limits on the label.

Tools, rebar, and framing lumber are fine in a standard box. We'd rather tell you that than lease you a unit you don't need.

Do you only work in southern Utah?

No. We're based in St. George. In-stock units reach anywhere in Utah in 24 hours and surrounding states in 48 to 72. For millwork coming from out of state, our trucking partner can haul it from the mill to your site in climate control.
